The Region
Troimoira’s Fane is the name given to the region around the old
city of Angleston. Originally coined by adventurers and mercenaries,
the term is now in widespread use. Troimoira is the goddess of fortune,
and the patron deity of adventurers, and the region was named in her
honour due to its wild and lawless nature. It is the perfect environment
for an adventurer seeking opportunities, but it can be lethal for the
unwary – and for those who do not find the goddess’ favour.

Introduction
Troimoira’s Fane is a region on the north eastern coast
of the Angelan Sea, between the fingers of two great mountain ranges.
At one time the area was on the extreme western boarder of the Elanii
Empire, and the old Elven city still stands. There are also indications
in the region of even earlier Elanii driven settlements, from the time
before the Empire. The Emperor never closely controlled the region,
and Aulis (now generally called Angleston) was one of the first cities
to break away from the Empire. However, the city was never able to gain
control over the wider area, and Troimoira’s Fane has long been a wild,
unsettled region, fought over by numerous petty lords and barons. Local
conflicts are common, and leaders fall and rise with confusing regularity.
